Students from Cobb Elementary and Cheaha Creative Arts performed at St. Michaels on December 13, 2015. Cobb Elementary’s Mass Choir was formed in 2009 at the suggestion of Ms. Annie Jackson, the school’s custodian. Its purpose is to provide incentives for positive behavior and opportunities to develop student talents. The choir is made up of students in grades kindergarten through fifth who rehearse for an hour each Friday. Mrs. Susan Grimes serves as the choir’s director with Ms. Christina Bagley as accompanist. “God has blessed this choir to be a blessing to others and to me,” Mrs. Grimes commented. The choir will perform a program of Christmas and contemporary selections.
