Vision
A future where the poor and uninsured residents of Calhoun County have access to primary care.

Core Values

  • Faith-based
  • Charitable
  • Quality primary care for uninsured community residents in need
  • Care provided for patients 18-65 years old

We are a faith based, non-profit medical clinic that provides basic primary care services by a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to residents of Calhoun County who are poor and uninsured, free of charge.

We also assist our patient population with medications as available, referrals, and provide health education and care in English and Spanish. We strive to provide the highest quality care with the love of God. We treat all patients regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, religious persuasion, or sexual orientation. Our only requirement is that the patient provides the necessary documentation of a valid photo ID and proof of income. Income eligibility is based on the poverty rates set by the US government. The patient must also be a resident of Calhoun County. More info about the clinic and income requirements may be found here.

St. Michael’s Community Center is humbled to be a Jubilee Ministry of the Episcopal Church. This affiliation comes with commitment to serve the oppressed people and build a more just society. More information about our affiliation may be found here.

The clinic is also in need of volunteers! If you would like to volunteer during regular business hours, please e-mail nmudiam@gmail.com.
