MEALS FOR FRONTLINE HEALTHCARE WORKERS, ROUND TWO!

Once again, we are delighted to have been able to deliver prayers and scrumptious meals prepared by Rosie’s Gourmet-to-Go for the doctors, nurses and other staff members working in the two RMC Covid units.
Representing the parish today, along with our friend Stacey Hardy from Rosie’s, were Lenn Costner, Bryan Cuneo, Candi Glass and Donna LePrell.

MEALS ON WHEELS DELIVERIES

Suzanne Sheier, a longtime volunteer with Interfaith Ministries’ Meals on Wheels program, prepares to make her deliveries. According to Suzanne, Meals on Wheels daily delivers over a hundred meals. Contributions to this cause are always welcomed; they should be directed to Interfaith Ministries of Calhoun County for Meals on Wheels. Thank you, Suzanne, for living out your faith in so many generous and thoughtful ways!

DOUGHNUTS AND PRAYERS FOR ANNISTON POLICE DEPARTMENT

This morning, in honor of the Feast Day of St. Michael (Patron Saint of Police Officers) and All Angels, several members of our St. Catherine Chapter of the Daughters of the King delivered doughnuts and prayer/blessing cards to the Anniston Police Department to express our appreciation for and support of the good, hard work of these committed civil servants.
We give thanks for the Anniston Police Department personnel for all the ways they defend, protect and serve our city, and pray for their safety and well-being.
Pictured below with members of the Anniston Police Department are Florence Cuneo, Jo Rhea Ford and Judy Suther.

MEALS FOR FRONTLINE HEALTHCARE WORKERS

With gratitude for their tireless efforts, we are blessed to have been able to provide delicious, healthy meals from Classic on Noble and prayers for thirty-nine Covid-unit workers at RMC and eight staff members at St. Michael’s Medical Clinic today.

Thank you, frontline healthcare workers! You, your families and those for whom you care are in our daily prayers. You’re the best!

Jack Draper, Keli Wigley and David Hodnett represented the parish by delivering the meals with Carter Orrison from Classic on Noble.
