A PERSONAL WORD…
October 6, 2025
My dear friends,
I am delighted to share news of a special treat for our parish family—an event less than two weeks away that I hope you won’t miss. It promises to be a memorable evening, one you’ll be glad to share with family and friends of all ages.
Bishop Kee Sloan is one of the finest storytellers I have ever heard. Like the Bishop himself, his stories are warm and delightful—often funny, poignant, and deeply moving, sometimes all at once. A keen and compassionate observer of people and life, Bishop Sloan draws most of his stories from the rich experiences of his childhood and youth in Mississippi and from his many years of faithful service as a priest and bishop of the Church.
We are truly fortunate to welcome Bishop Sloan back to Saint Michael and All Angels for this special occasion. I look forward to sharing this evening with you and to the joy it will bring to all who attend.
Blessings and love,
D+
